WHERE & WHEN THE IDEA OF CREATING MY OWN BRAND HIT MY HEAD.

Since I was born (even before my birth), Paxos has been, and it will always be, my home away from home. Unimaginably, my passion and addiction for hand fans comes from this tiny fashion shop located in Paxos. All their products come straight from Bali: does it sound familiar?

Since I’m one of their biggest buyers when it comes to hand fans, I asked the shop owner if she would, or could, share with me the contact of her Balinese supplier. I was expecting a big “NO DARLING, I’m sorry”; on the contrary, I received an immediate and kind “OF COURSE, give me your number”. I took this as THE SIGN: “I’m doing it”.

Hello there! If a few months ago people had told me that I would have become an entrepreneur, I surely would have answered “no way man, what are you even saying?”. Nobody told me so, but, unexpectedly, here I am! Founder of a new fashion brand, that, for now, it’s all about Hand Fans. Life is so unpredictable, don’t you think?

Some background information: I’m 27 and I’m Graduated in Business Administration. I’m also a Hand Fans’ lover – probably addict – and a heavy user since forever. My god how much I love them. This accessory is the one thing I couldn’t live without from Spring till the last warm day & night of the year..and not exclusively because of their functionality.

After four amazing years spent in Madrid as a student, I moved to Milan. Fascinated by the Beauty Industry, I successfully applied to L’Oréal, where I’ve been working for three years, at first as marketing intern and then as Product Manager for Maybelline & Essie. This Company taught me sooo many things, both at a professional and personal level. A 360° experience; a tough and challenging one. Then, life forced evolution. The good news? I’m not afraid of obstacles, nor of last minute changes. Thanks to all these factors, I believe I now have a good eye for business and what could come back on-trend. Guess what? I feel Hand Fans will be next. That’s how everything started.

That’s why I decided to challenge myself and launch LULUDI.
